Promotes the community and the rental of apartments using a thorough and accurate preparation of vacant apartments for new residents.
•The turnover maintenance person performs any pre-maintenance required to bring the apartment to a presentable level so that the work of our painting and cleaning contractors can proceed quickly.
•This individual is also responsible for touch-ups needed to make the apartment ready for occupancy.
•Through a willingness to work as a team member, the turnover maintenance person assists the management team as needed, as well as residents, in a polite and professional manner.
The fluctuating demands of our business operation make it necessary for employees to perform a multitude of functions, which are considered essential.
Knowledge of drywall, window, and appliance repairs.
•HVAC knowledge preferred.
•Knowledge of carpentry and ceramic tile installation.
•Must have own tools and transportation.
•Knowledge and ability to complete full vacant turn processes.
•Some electrical and plumbing experience required.
•Swimming pool maintenance.
•Experience with painting.
•Previous apartment community maintenance experience preferred.
•Open to change and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Employees are required to be honest and trustworthy with a clean background. A full background check will be performed on all maintenance applicants. A valid driver's license and clean or near clean driving record will be required.
