Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care

Summary:

The Critical Care Nurse will deliver quality patient care by contributing to the nursing care-plan from admission to discharge. The Critical Care Nurse will prepare assessment of patient's progress and keep family informed. The Critical Care Nurse will monitor pain management procedures. The Critical Care Nurse will participate in the discharge-planning process. The Critical Care Nurse will ensure current and accurate patient documentation. The Critical Care Nurse will supervise ancillary staff members.

Skills Required:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing, an Associates degree, or a Nursing diploma from an accredited Institution.
• Current state RN license.
• BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• At least six months Medical/Surgical experience in an acute-care setting are preferred. Critical Care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medication-administration procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
