ACD Connect currently has open positions for seasoned part-time customer service agents to take and make calls from their home office. Our clients include well known, not for profit organizations. While the majority of calls are inbound, there are times where a follow up, outbound call will be necessary to assist the client’s members.
We are searching for applicants with exemplary social graces, communication, language proficiency, friendliness and optimism. We are specifically looking for agents who have the ability to employ empathy and gratitude with each caller while maintaining a professional manner.
Employees are scheduled up to 29 hours per week, and up to 36 hours depending on our client’s needs during peak seasons. Assigned hours will fall within the Call Center Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 8am to 8pm EST, and Saturday 10am to 5pm EST. Assigned shifts of 4 - 7 hours in length.
Applicants must live in the following states: Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin.
Minimum requirements: -High school diploma or equivalent –Experience with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Docs) -Required language proficiency -Knowledge of customer service principles and practices -Experience in a call center or customer service environment -Knowledge of administration and clerical processes -Clearing internet cookies, internet cache and internet temp files -Active Antivirus and Malware Software -Office free of background noise and distractions
Minimum equipment requirements: Windows 7 PC or higher w/2 GB ram, and Internet Explorer 10 or higher. Private, hardwired internet connection and phone line (landline or internet service free of all features). Noise cancelling headsets with mute function hardwired to phone and computer.
Pay rate: $9/hour which is increased to $10/hour upon successful completion of six-month new hire probationary period. (Note: ACD Connect complies with applicable laws and makes adjustments to minimum wage as required.)
