Qualified candidates should possess sound clinical knowledge, crises intervention skills, ability to engage clients, and strong organizational and computer skills.
Under the supervision of the Counseling Program Director, this individual will provide therapeutic services to a varied client population.
Skills Required:
Position requires a master in social work, psychology, or counseling, or a master degree in a clinical field.
Minimum of two years post-master degree experience with Medicaid and DCFS experience preferred.
Licensure preferred.
Must pass CANTS/LEADS background checks.
Must have valid Illinois driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, comprehensive manner.
Capacity to understand, and empathize with the cultural, psychological and practical needs of the clients that the Agency serves.
Group and community presentation experience preferred.
