WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION?
Our Sales Representatives contribute to the goals and overall success of the Company due to their direct contact with current and potential customers. They are located in various contact centers and serve as an extension of State Farm agents' offices by selling State Farm insurance products. The primary responsibilities of a Sales Representative include:
•Selling State Farm insurance products through our inbound customer care center
•Applying industry and product knowledge to provide accurate rate quotes
•Providing a remarkable customer experience
•Communicating with customers in a courteous manner using approved scripts via phone or written correspondence
•Working in a collaborative, results-driven team environment with the ability to achieve established sales goals efficiently, while meeting quality standards
•Being accountable to their team, their work and their schedule
WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?
•Successful completion of required training programs and licensing; continuing education for licensing
•Listen and communicate clearly, professionally and empathetically
•Work from established procedures, scripts and job aids and handle multiple computer applications while helping customers on the phone
•Apply eligibility guidelines correctly
•Escalate problems or inquiries as needed
•Maintain quality, accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing environment
•Sales experience desired but not required

LOCATION: BLOOMINGTON, IL
Candidates must be willing to relocate themselves at their expense to this location.
Salary: $16.00/Hour - Additional sales incentives are available based on sales performance. Shift pay (including weekends) may apply. Our compensation programs are always evolving and are subject to change.
The Customer Care Center Sales Department is an after-hours and weekend operation that supports a 24 hour and 7 days a week environment driven by our customer demands. Bilingual Spanish skills are desired, but not required. Competitive candidates may participate in pre-employment testing and phone interviews.
LICENSING: Training includes P&C Producers Licensing paid for by State Farm. Successful selected candidates will receive a job offer stating that continued employment as a State Farm CCC Sales Customer Associate is contingent upon meeting the requirements necessary to obtain appropriate state(s) mandated licenses. This includes successfully completing all applicable licensing exam(s) and background checks required of various state(s). Failure to do so may result in termination.
TRAINING: Once hired, selected candidates will attend 14 weeks of a MANDATORY paid training program.
WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule is a set schedule of 24 hours per week and will include working a full Saturday and/or Sunday every week and may include working some holidays in the future. Due to the nature of our business, flexibility in the work schedule is needed and future work schedules may change based on business needs
