I am 48 years old, graduated high school in 1988 and some college at Illinois Central College. I majored in Accounting. I have also published several fiction novels, retiring in 2016. From there I gained an interest in acrylic painting. I’ve painted nonstop for the past two years, attending painting events, painting for people who want a specific project, taking online classes plus YouTube tutorials. I have sold a couple of paintings and taught two art classes at Mind Oasis in Peoria for art therapy. I have worked for the US Postal Service for 25 years, starting in September of 1992 until present.
