Hi everyone, we are The Distracted Dog!
A little about us:

We are a locally owned dog training company serving Peoria and the surrounding Central Illinois area. We help dogs and their owners build better communication, confidence, and real-world reliability through everything from puppy training and basic obedience to off-leash work, reactivity, and more challenging behavioral issues. We have a great team here with safety and learning being our top priority. We're proud to be part of the Peoria community and are excited to connect with more local dog owners!

Come get to know us better at our annual Howlin' Halloween event happening October 31st at Tower Park in Peoria Heights. Running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. there is plenty of time for you to spend your afternoon with us for a fun day featuring Birds of Paradise Sound, contests, prizes, a silent auction, photo booth, local vendors, and more.

Dress up your pup and join us for our costume contest finale before a fun night of trick or treating! Think your dog can beat out the rest? We will see!

You don't want your decision to stay home HAUNTING you forever! We hope to see you there.

Sincerely,
The Distracted Dog Team

Thanks for the introduction! I wasn't familiar with you before!

We have a couple of dog-friendly live music venues in the area, including Pour Bros and Friendly Valley. I bet there are plenty of music lovers who would love to bring their dogs along but aren't sure how well they'd behave around the crowds, noise, and excitement. There are probably also some dog owners who don't realize their dogs may need hearing protection around loud music!

If you're interested, I'd love to talk about collaborating on a promotion for your regular classes or even a special class this winter or spring to help get dogs ready to enjoy live music with their owners. I think it could be a fun opportunity!
