The World Series Glad to see the Brewers winning their first World Championship. During the post season, they only lost 2 games. They were definitely the better team this year, in all aspects. Some comments from fans say Bob Uecker was looking down from heaven, and helping them spiritually. Well, many Cubs fans said the same thing 10 years ago about Jack Brickhouse, Harry Carey, Ron Santo and Ernie Banks. So congratulations to the Brew Crew. One complaint I have has to do with those that produce sports games. We know you want the TV audience to feel like they're at the game. But damn, do you have to have the crowd noise SOOO loud, that you can't hear the announcers? It was terrible all through the MLB playoffs, and it's that way during Bears games. We're now watching replays of the Cubs 2016 World Series on Marquee, and there's a noticeable difference from back then. You can easily hear the Fox announcers and the crowd noise is not nearly as loud. We don't have a fancy sound system, we listen through the TV speakers. Anyone else who watches sports on TV notice the loud crowd noise?

You sure this isn't a TV setting? Flat screens are already awful for audio (no room for a decent speaker cabinet) and then they have multiple audio modes. If you have a surround signal compressed to 2-channel audio, it could easily be pushing the rear channels into the fronts and overpowering the dialogue.

All I asked for Christmas was for the Brewers to lose. As it turned out, that really was too much to ask. Now I'm just sad baseball season is over.

It was great that both teams had never won, so it was a first for whomever! I was happy with the Brewers winning since they're the closest to us.
