People who are still saying "well if they are here illegally" to justify the kidnapping are either trying to hide their xenophobic tendencies or want to be willfully ignorant.

Sheriff Watkins sent email. The law enforcement at Northwoods Mall were local, and were on a break from a training exercise. They were not ICE.

Everyone's got two things, an opinion and an @ss... Yvonne owns the Blend coffee shop in Washington. Best reddit post was that Washington is just Pekin with money.

AverageSue : 25 years and 2 children would that be enough time to try to get citizenship. Yet live illegally for 25 years.

Would a US-born CITIZEN be enough for YOU?? Apparently you don't have a problem with ICE. ICE is doing this. Ergo, you are okay with citizens being rounded up.

tntrecycling : How do you know they are not citizens or in the long, expensive process of trying to become citizens?

I wonder how many people who are here in an illegal fashion, would become citizens if it wasn't such an expensive, long, drawn out pain in the ***? I'm guessing it wasn't such a ballbusting process back in the day: Grandfather had his citizenship in 7 years living in Tremont. My dad got his, as back then, if you served two years in the Armed Forces, you were granted citizenship.

We need more people working on it. And either they meet the standard or they don't. Too many are in limbo for too long and it's so expensive. That just encourages then to remain undocumented/illegal. "Accepted/Denied.... Next!"

My wife's maternal grandparents immigrated from Germany, don't know what year. They are had other family here, so may have had sponsorship. But while her grandpa attained citizenship, learned English, worked at Caterpillar for many years, her grandma never became a citizen. I think my MIL said she'd have trouble taking tests in English, but learned English. But I'm sure they spoke German in their house when alone.

He worked for me. The other day when ICE was at Lowes. He explained his way of coming here and with no help form the Government.
