New movies or new book?
Do you read just to read do you watch just to watch?
Without killing it's very hard to find a movie released. While books relate fiction so much how much is worth the time.
Where will it take your mind.

Well, I guess with the down vote someone disagrees.I suppose that themes of violence and fiction are often used to keep stories alive in the imagination.

Against fervent protests, signs in the yard, picketing on Main St ... Just say no to digital!! (nobody honked) ... I even tried holding back sex. Ok, I didn't go that far, but the other stuff is true, and my wife still bought me a kindle for Christmas!

I read a lot more now, because it was hard to read a paperback in bed in the dark.

"I'd rather read a book than watch a movie. The pictures are better." Woody Allen paraphrase.

What matters is what you feed your mind. Drama, fiction, and violent scenes leave lasting impressions on the mind once witnessed. It's something you never forget, even if you wish you could.

Speaking of new movies, I'm looking forward to seeing Toy Story and The Odyssey once they hit streaming. Series wise, we're wrapping up Designated Survivor for the second time. SILO is next on the agenda, per our kids.

I continue to read the Bible regularly. Discover intriguing passages that someone can interpret in different ways to suit their perspective.
Out of all that is available seems like the only logical reading today.

starting in July i decided to read- little house in the big woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder. i read it as a child. i went to the library and ask if it is ok to get a book from the children's/young adult section. they're like yes. i read -little house in the big woods, then the longer winter. Same author - btw i would not have withstood that winter they experienced. it was long and cold. i started to read books by Harland Coben. i am thoroughly enjoying reading his work.

Was changing the Hummingbird feeder and she waited until I was done. So cute seeing them babies grow. At first, I thought it was a bee.

I still need to finish reading the 1st Harry Potter book, "The Sorcerer's Stone" (US title), since the movie doesn't include everything. I also need to read the 8th book, "The Cursed Child", which was written by J.K. Rowling in a screenplay format for the Broadway productions. Reading a screenplay is a little bit different than a book.
Will need to check those out by October 1st for wife's and mine bus trip to Shawnee National Forest areas.
