Who remembers the 70`s what park did they play?

Grew up in the country, so no park to play in. What I had was better than going in to town to play in a park!. Had acres to roam, trees to climb, a swing hung from a big tree limb, a couple of creeks to splash in and plenty of animals, pets and otherwise.

I had Donovan Golf Course to play in when I was a kid. It's a park that I have no use for now.

we lived next to a field, across the road was the woods where bigfoot lived. during the day we would walk to the creek when bigfoot was sleeping. we were young kids

Where I grew up ICC was not there. lol.
Glen Oak Park they played in the 70`s.

It was the 50's and 60's But,the neighborhood that I grew up in had a small park that we only used for pick-up baseball and football games. We also had Herb's Farm Market that had a buggy and a covered wagon on display and we could play on them. For a 10 year old, there was no better place to play cowboys and Indians. Also lot of woods to explore, and when we got a couple years older there was a concrete plant where we would have BB gun fights among the stacks of blocks. And last but not least, we had Wernsman's Resaurant. Back then you could get a burger, fries and soda for 40 cents. I had an awesome childhood.
