And there's Social media conspiracy from some GOP that Corbett is getting campaign cash under the table from Pritzker's campaign. Seriously?

In theory, say the Democrats win enough seats to take over the House and the Senate. And they decide to file impeachment proceedings against the President. The House would pass it, the Senate would hold trial. My question is, how many seats would the Democrats need in the Senate to convict him this time? Is it 60, or simple majority of 51-49? Another issue, is if he is impeached, do we really want Vance to be sworn in as President for the last 2 years, allowing him to run as an incumbent in 2028?Would I like to see the Democrats retake Congress? Of course, but if a Republican Congress is being ignored by him, and/or not enough are standing up to DJT, you know he's going to ramrod everything through as an EO, and to heck with the Democratic Congress and the Courts, if he isn't impeached. My opinion and mine alone and not my employer's.

So what does this mean for the SAVE Act? Moot point, because the WH wannabe Dictator wants it? Or because it's a bill from Congress, it's not affected by this ruling?Thoughts, anyone?

I certainly hope they do. And I hope they turn Hegseth over to INTERPOL.
