Hello! My name is PCCEOCAA.
A little about me:The Peoria Citizens Committee for Economic Opportunity, Inc., is partnering with Ameren Illinois to implement their Energy Efficiency Program throughout Peoria County. Ameren is committed to invest 114 million per year for the next 4 years in electric and gas efficiency programs.

Participation in this innovative program will lower your energy use and utility bills. Establish fewer drafts and more comfortable rooms and increase long-term value of the home. Eligible are homeowners or renters.
The families can save considerably with energy efficiency incentives for their homes and you will continue to enjoy the energy savings for years to come. Our program is designed to help complete more energy efficiency projects, including:
Energy-efficient lighting
Heating and cooling improvements
Special incentives for small facilities
Motor efficiency upgrades
Insulation of Home
Duct sealing
Custom projects for facility
Applications will be available at Grace & Peace Church, 7611 N. Knoxville Ave. Peoria. Time will be from 8:30 am to 12 noon on 10/30/2018.

Looks like a double post. I really hope there are some members who can take advantage of the programs and share information with their neighbors who may be able to benefit. Thanks for the ibnformation.

Hey, I've met you once or twice. You were involved with CAPtions and radio program before I came aboard in 1986. And ended up being there for almost 27 years. Welcome Norris! You must be the new Energy Services Coordinator, taking over for the lady whose initials are T.W-B.?

Hello and how have you been? T.W.B. has gone on to better things and this program is different than the program . Currently her position is open. Hint Hint

Miss my radio days but it was good while it lasted. Thanks DennisMH if you know of any persons interested in Home Energy Efficiency please send them my way Peoria or Tazwell counties.

So this is separate from LIHEAP and Weatherization? A new grant in coordination with Ameren?

I thought about applying for her job, but just not sure if I qualify. I'll take a look again.

@PCCEOCAA : What about public or semi-public buildings? I am thinking about the East Bluff Community Center located in the old St. Bernard's School. The building is rented from the Diocese. Sure could use some updated lighting and other touches.

Nice to see programs like these still available. I know of many who have saved and keep saving for programs like these. Might have to check in and see what I could do for my new home. need to find ways to spend less always.

@RambleOn : This is for single family homes only but their are program available on line with Ameren.

@PCCEOCAA I found out that the head facilities guy at the center met with Ameren in Springfield yesterday. The grant last year upgraded the lighting on the second floor and gym. We will have a visit from a rep from Quincy and we may have an opportunity to upgrade more lighting in the building. Thanks for your response.
