Anyone use a metal detector? Looking maybe for a cheap one but I don't really know where to start. My daughter's new house in Tiskilwa that I previously mentioned is a dump, literally. We found an old 4x4 dune buggy type thing in the woods behind it with no wheels, and now she tells me she found a car on her property in the woods that appears to have been abandoned years ago.

This is going to get fun!

Yep, used to go to Detweiller the morning after soccer games and pick-up the dropped changed. Believe it or not, could usually get enough to buy lunch and some exercise. Also found a few pieces of jewelry,

Still have one, but would be interested in letting it go for the right price. I'll find the model # when I get home.

I knew some people years ago that would go to small towns the day after their local festivals, like Metamora's Old Settler's or the Turkey Fest. It wasn't unusual for them to get $50 or more each time.

@skutfarcus : She's probably got $20 worth of old beer cans in her back yard! The "good" stuff we've found so far is down near the creek behind her. Hope we don't find any dead bodies, uhh... Neighbor said to keep your dog inside at night because the Coyote's come up from there. Hah.
