@AverageJoe I have no problem with the way I feel or for that matter the way you feel. I have been discussing the way I FEEL but if you feel the need to put me down then I'm done
"I don't see color" - I've always been amused by that. I also don't find it honest.
@AverageJoe Right there you said I was not honest. Just because I know that humans have feelings and would not introduce someone as “This is my black friend Tony†doesn't mean that you wouldn't do it. The OP question was “What do you see?†I see two people shaking hands. If asked to DESCRIBE the pic then I would tell you that I see a dark skinned and light skinned person shaking hands. That's my POV
Everything is based on a person's perceptions. Just because you use a particular color to describe something you see, it doesn't make you a racist or mean your implicit bias has taken over. When people buy a car it may be technically moonlight blue or gunmetal gray, but because we don't use those terms or maybe not even realize those are colors will simply say one is blue and one is gray.
Since everything apparently hinges upon race, the African Americans have it easy compared to the Hispanics and the Asians.
@starbound64 Yes the question was what do you see. Because I see two people shaking hands with no color involve I'm wrong which it self's proves that the colors black and whites can cause racial problems.

@mrstnt nobody said to introduce people as "my black friend" good grief. And yes, I think it's dishonest to say you don't see someone's pigment. Apple's and giraffes.
Lets see: I don't see color (but I see light and dark skin) Noticing pigmentation means one introduces people as "my black friend tony", and if you see different pigment, that means you introduce "my black friend, Tony"
When I look at someone, I don't see color, I see a person. This is what I said. When taking the whole context of the sentence, I meant that I don't take color/pigmentation into consideration when I meet someone. if you choose to do that then that is your choice.
