Beautiful day at the John Deere Classic today. I followed my man Zach Johnson and his group of Kevin Na & Daniel Berger.

Zach has a reputation of being one of those all around great guys, but what stuck me is how old school he is. Metal spikes, paces off his yardage on his own, and picks up his own divots!

(It was cool being up close and personal too)

I've been following the young man from East Peoria, David Perkins, who got to play in the John Deere classic. It was great to see him be able play in something that meant so much to him. Seems like a nice young man.

For 20 bucks you can park in one of the neighboring backyards just outside the gate. Sure beats taking the shuttle, but their yards were a wreck at the end of the day!
