The Blues Fest is cancelled

That's too bad, it's been a staple at end of August for I don't know how many years. Any info on why? (Been in Gibson City most of day, left my cell in car, LOL)

People on FB mad that "they" took away Summer Camp and Blues Fest. I guess trying to blame the city? Direct that toward the promoters.

I just know that you must attend these events that cost promoters so much money! This is not a city event, it is privately invested, produced and promoted. He has been doing it for decades! Have you been going?

Any word on why it was cancelled? What's the status of the new stage?
