How can mass marketing mailers get your name so utterly screwed up? I got two things in the mail recently that just made me shake my head. First, Chuck Grayeb mailed me a nice hand personalized letter asking for our support. Problem is, he addressed it to my dead uncle who never lived in Peoria a day in his life. The other one is from Better Banks, which we bank with. It was a reminder notice of my upcoming appointment with a financial advisor. Ok, great, but I don't have an appointment, nor do I want one, and there is no Paul in existence with my last name. I get that sometimes your name gets misspelled, but these two are utter failures! And both are hand-written to boot!

I love the ones labeled "For our friends at (insert address here)"
Friends bring wine and snacks. You send junk mail. Not a friend.

Reminds me of the good 'ol days when you would get junk mail with a no postage return envelope..... If you knew how to read that code on the return envelope, you could decipher the weight limit of said return postage. Companies would frequently use the "no limit" code. If it came to my house, they received a complimentary paver brick. About 5-6 pounds of wasted postage.
