I stayed at a place in Springfield recently and they had them. I don't know how old the place was, but I think the mattress on the bed was older than I am. But it was cheap!

I helped myself to a Giddy Bible and a Book of Mormon out of cheap (Pets Free!) motels years ago. The bible was for crossword-clue solutions. The Mormon book was curiosity. Haven't Mormon'd for X-words.

Both my grandsons attend a private Springfield academy associated with the Assembly of God church. But the family attends and is active in an ELCA Lutheran Church. So when we went shopping for school clothes and supplies for the boys recently, one of the items required, for the 7 year old going into 2nd grade, is a NIV Bible.Because my daughter has to be at work at a Chatham High School at 7:30 am, Springfield public schools don't have before-school child care that early. Hence, a private school that obviously uses faith and religion in their curriculum.

Can I ask you a question: the Bible is considered God's word, correct? What do you think differs from the Bible you read? Please help me with your understanding.
