This deal won't help Trump block the release of the Epstein Files.

DennisinPeoria :
LOTS of people of both parties think he should offer a token gesture of releasing a small amount of frozen assessment as a goodwill gesture. Trump is an EMPHATIC NO on the issue.
God forbid that the frozen assets have disappeared.

As expected, Donny Boy rejected Iran's proposal they submitted.
apnews.com/article/m ideast-roundup-iran- saudi-israel-yemen-c 529a0a729600230
"But on Saturday, Trump rejected the proposal saying Iran wanted to make a deal because it was "losing so badly."

"They want to make a deal and I think that's fine," Trump told reporters outside the White House before leaving for a college football game. "I'd like to make a deal, too. But that deal would not be acceptable."

Ok, then, Mr. President, where is YOUR deal to end all of this? I haven't seen a proposal from your team for months, except for the June MOU.

He's stated he's not in a hurry to end this until after Midterms. Is it a case that he and his wealthy inner circle want the up and down oil and stock prices to continue so they can take in more cash? Leaving average working Americans and farmers struggling with higher inflation and prices to continue suffering?

My opinion and mine alone and not my employer's.

DennisinPeoria :
The entire trump family is making millions from his war. And as he's made clear, they don't give a rat's *** about casualties.

There is essentially a news black out from the administration with regards to the conflcit in the middle east. The Pentagon no longer gives updates. Most of what we are learning about the middle east is coming from foreign news sources or other third party sources with satellite images from the region. The business about Saudi Arabia losing the port on the red sea came about from third party sources and not from the administration. Only after they were presented with those satellite images did they fess up to what is going on.

We have essentially lost the use of bases in and around the Persian Gulf.

We have ships 1000s of miles away from critical supply hubs. Its a bad situation.

skutfarcus : Funny enough I heard FAUX comparing the barrel of oil costs under Biden, completely ignoring the retail cost of gas. Weird. I mean really weird.

This morning British police, and others, arrested some people in a van driving towards a RAF base in England, that also has US troops based there. People were rested in the vans. Homes were evacuated as a safety precaution. Vans were already parked in the area too. Their intention was top do extremely significant damage. More is unfolding by the minute. So far, the US media is hardly reporting this. However, Sky News is streaming reports on its website and elsewhere.

billybob : Associated Press posted an update at 11:38 am on this:
apnews.com/article/b ritain-explosives-us -air-base-fairford-4 9495441036e7876
"U.K. police said Sunday that five men arrested in the middle of the night near an air base used by the United States during its war against Iran are being held on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act that appeared to involve three trucks.

London's Metropolitan Police, which takes the lead on potential terrorist activities, said police received a call at 12:45 a.m. related to the three suspicious vehicles that appeared to be traveling toward RAF Fairford, a U.K.-owned base that is operated by the U.S. under an agreement dating back to the Cold War."
