Now that Big Als got their liquor license, you might be interested in one of the owner's other extremely popular bars. Saddle Up is downtown next to Kenny's. The thing is, it's an underage bar, similar to the way the Farmington Rd bars historically have been. When the Farmington Rd bars close, everyone either goes home or they go to Saddle. So much so, they run their own shuttle bus to and fro, including stops at Bradley, and they even shuttle people from ISU. I was told by one student that "the bars suck in Bloomington. Everyone comes to Peoria!" Yes, you guessed it, that person was underage. I'm not suggesting Big Als is going to allow underage drinking, but it is something worth noting.

@PeoriaIllinoisan :
With the problems they had that caused the closure 2 years ago, and that the City will be keeping a close eye as it operates again....
I seriously doubt they will allow anyone under 21 into the business.
Just my opinion.

Wonder how many girls will continue to become victims of that place before it's shutdown. As for the Big Al's deal, there was some "promises" and "favors" in that one. Ty was a little shocked it was approved from what I hear.
@DennisinPeoria :
Fully agreed. I would imagine there are a lot of people hoping and waiting that Big Al's will fail, and will be watching that place with a microscope just waiting for something to yank the license over.
