Social Media has accused Pastor Chuck Brown of almost every crime in the book. WMBD received a statement from him, saying one of the reasons of the delays was supply chains in 2022. Then he had to do change orders based on requirements from the city and the health department. On top of this, his wife had cancer and died; other members of his family passed away.
Despite getting news he was getting grants, he probably had to wait until the money actually came before he could take the next step.
OTOH, he was supposed to meet Andy Kravetz and me yesterday to give us an on camera update. Unfortunately, he backed out last minute, so all I could do is get exterior shots. I did manage to hold camera up to the window, get a decent look inside. Looks pretty good.
