@PeoriaIllinoisan : Most likely, the pay may vary based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant. Not every bookkeeper would be familiar with a non-profit that has complicated income streams.
@RambleOn : I'm thinking more about the pressure of being scrutinized like never before based on their previous issues. You deserve extra pay just for that!
My wife would strongly qualify, as she worked as office person/bookkeeper for 10 years for a small village that had diverse income streams. But I don't think she wants to go back to work even part time. She currently volunteers as treasurer for our church.
Of note: "While WTVP pulled in more than $4 million in revenue, it had $5 million in expenses. Those expenses include more than $1.2 million spent on the Peoria Magazine, which WTVP acquired in Dec. 2021. Based on the financial statements included in the audit, the magazine brought in about half a million in advertising. It was not immediately clear how much revenue was generated from magazine subscriptions."
