Mel's Cafe - Peoria Restaurants

Have been here twice in the last month for breakfast and witnessed the same thing both times. Food wasn't bad at all and the staff was very friendly. Everyone makes you feel welcome the minute you walk in. But, (and theres that BUT that makes me think I won't go back), I watched three different waitresses eating while working. They would stand at the counter and eat, lick their fingers, pick their teeth and without washing their hands, go take food and drinks to customers. For crying out loud people, go set down at a table, eat, go wash up and go back to work. The owner was at the bar the whole time so it must be a daily occurance. I don't know about you but I don't care to see that.
