Schooner's - Peoria Restaurants

I just want to mention I go here frequently. But there is a reason. Since day one, the people here have been really friendly, great service and tasty bar food. The TVs and music aren't blaring. The place is a little worn, but comfortable and inviting. I love the onion rings; probably the best I've had in Peoria. My two favorite menu items are the Gebby burger and the veggie/black bean burger although last night I switched it up and had their chicken quesadilla which was blazing hot (must have come straight from the flat top to my table) and chips. The 'dilla was cheesy and full of chicken. They changed their chips to a very thin, tight patterned waffle style chip which I think is an improvement over what they previously served. The beer is always frost cold and now they carry two nice bourbons, so I may never leave.
